Lactation Apple Pie Oatmeal | Vegan Breastfeeding Mom
If you’re anything like me, as a new breastfeeding mom, one of your main concerns is probably milk supply. As your body adjusts to what your baby needs, it can been difficult to feel confident that he/she is getting enough of what he/she needs in order to grow and gain weight. Many common, healthy, whole foods can help to maintain, if not boost your milk supply–they’re called galactagogues!
I’ve incorporated a few of my favorite galactagogues (that also contain other amazing health properties) into a delicious recipe that will fuel you up for breakfast, or any other time of day! Not only is this plant-based, vegan recipe fantastic for breastfeeding moms, it’s also great for anybody else–it’s high in iron, protein, fiber, antioxidants, it’s gluten-free, and most importantly, it tastes amazing!
